We’re referring to CryZENx’s The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake.
One fan has been working on a remake for quite some time and over the years we’ve seen demos released to showcase his work. Now that time has passed, Nintendo has some stiff competition if they ever decide to give the game a proper remake. This game first hit the marketplace back during the days of the Nintendo 64 and was an instant classic hit. Everyone seems to have their own favorite installment from the franchise but most would agree that on the top or very near it is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. For now, you can head over to their Patreon page which features the download link for the latest Version 3.0, however, it might take a while until the link works again, or CryZENx uploads the files to another platform. The Legend of Zelda franchise is one cherished by fans all over the world and since its debut back on the original Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo is still bringing out new installments with the latest being The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I was unable to download the file myself as the Google Drive download has reached its maximum limit for 24 hours due to being so popular.ĬryZENx states in the description of the below video that they plan to continue working on the The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time project in 2019 and "Trying to continue the storyline next year".

You can however see footage of the Temple of Time by watching this video from February this year. All details are still intact and look lovely with it having a darker tone thanks to the improved lighting, bringing a new breath of life to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.Īccording to CryZENx the demo is available for download and includes the Temple of Time and Kakariko areas, although the video doesn't show the Temple of Time area. The video then takes us to The Great Deku Tree where we see the cutscene play out before entering the giant wooden tree to complete the quest.
